The Allen & Heath ZED‑18 mixer has an incredibly advanced feature set for a console at this level. It provides musicians, venues and hire companies with 10 full mono channels and 4 stereo channels in a compact, rack‑mountable format. Configurable USB audio in/out makes it easy to capture stereo recordings.
USB audio flexibility
Getting audio to and from a computer is now a common requirement for live sound and music production. ZED‑18 makes this simple and flexible. Just connect a USB cable, select the routing on the mixer and choose the device on your computer — no need to reach behind your PC or deal with noisy, mismatched soundcard inputs. You get clean, CD‑quality audio to and from your Mac or PC.
MusiQ
The ZED‑18 features a responsive 3‑band EQ with swept mid frequency, using Allen & Heath’s MusiQ design. The optimised Q factor makes it ideal for shaping individual instruments with precision and musicality.
DuoPre
Based on the proven preamps from the successful PA Series, ZED‑18 uses DuoPre preamps with a two‑stage design and carefully controlled gain structure. The XLR input offers a huge 69dB of gain range, evenly distributed around the control for precise level setting. Most gain comes from the first stage, keeping noise to a minimum. Line‑level signals enter the second stage directly, resulting in lower noise and better impedance matching.

Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 11/9/25, capped $11.00 to $19.50 for up to 15 kg to most areas. For orders under $50, options are Standard Postage $11.00 or Express Shipping for $19.50. Orders over $1,000 ship for free*. Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You can instruct us to ask the courier to leave your parcel unattended in a safe place, although please be aware that if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option. If using a work address, please include the business's name.
