Wakin On A Pretty Daze - Kurt Vile (Opaque Yellow)
OLE998LP
$64.99
Wakin On A Pretty Daze is the acclaimed fifth studio album from American singer-songwriter Kurt Vile, widely regarded as one of the defining indie rock releases of the 2010s. Originally released in 2013, the album expanded Vile's signature blend of laid-back psychedelia, intricate guitar work and stream-of-consciousness songwriting into an ambitious and beautifully immersive double album.
Featuring expansive compositions and hypnotic grooves, Wakin On A Pretty Daze includes fan favourites such as "Wakin On A Pretty Day", "KV Crimes", "Was All Talk", "Too Hard" and the epic closer "Goldtone". The album captures Vile at the height of his creative powers, combining dreamy melodies, rich musicianship and introspective lyricism into a record that continues to resonate with listeners more than a decade after its original release.
This special 10th Anniversary Edition is pressed on Opaque Yellow Vinyl as part of Matador Records' Revisionist History series, celebrating one of the label's most beloved modern classics. A must-have for fans of indie rock, psychedelic folk and Kurt Vile's ever-expanding catalogue.
