Pursuit Of Anything is the ambitious new album from Australian indie favourites Vacations, capturing the band at a pivotal moment in their evolution. Written by the band and produced by frontman Campbell Burns, the album reflects on growing up, chasing creative ambitions and navigating the contrasts between life on the world stage and the lives unfolding back home in Australia.
Drawing inspiration from the experiences of each band member, Pursuit Of Anything expands Vacations' signature dreamy indie-pop sound into richer and more emotionally resonant territory. Tracks such as "Fooling You", "Congratulations", "Yesterday", "Holy Grail" and "Lucky, Forever" explore themes of self-discovery, relationships and personal growth, wrapped in the jangly guitars, warm melodies and atmospheric production that have earned the band a global following.
Pressed on Limited Evergreen Coloured Vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket complete with lyrics, Pursuit Of Anything is an essential release from one of Australia's most successful and beloved modern indie bands.
