$49.99
Now Would Be A Good Time is the debut album from Melbourne trio Folk Bitch Trio, introducing a fresh and deeply relatable voice in contemporary folk music. Combining rich three-part harmonies with sharp songwriting and a distinctly modern perspective, the album explores the emotional turbulence of young adulthood through stories of heartbreak, longing, friendship and self-discovery.
Made up of Heide Peverelle, Jeanie Pilkington and Gracie Sinclair, Folk Bitch Trio balance humour, vulnerability and dark wit across ten beautifully crafted songs. Highlights include the haunting "Moth Song", the hypnotic late-night reflection of "Hotel TV", the emotionally charged "The Actor" and the atmospheric "Cathode Ray". Their timeless folk influences are paired with contemporary themes, creating an album that feels both deeply personal and immediately relevant.
Pressed on Sky Blue Opaque Vinyl and released via Jagjaguwar, Now Would Be A Good Time is an impressive debut that showcases one of Australia's most exciting emerging folk acts.
