The Jensen JC12-70SB Silverbird 100 guitar speaker has a fat and full sound. It is versatile enough to deliver an open, airy response in open-back cabinets, and can morph into powerful rock’n roll tone machines in closed-back enclosures.
The Jensen JC12-SB70 Silverbird has a detailed top-end, which is important for a good clean tone, paired with a clear, expressive midrange. Its robust, warm low-end is a solid foundation for an overall balanced, powerful tone with higher gain applications.
The Silverbird speakers are designed to provide an eminently versatile array of tones, retaining the distinct vintage character of their Reinforced AlNiCo ancestors, the Blackbird 40 speakers, but in a more affordable platform. Specific attention was paid to the top-end response, carefully tailored to make the Silverbird speakers well-suited to overdrive and high-gain applications. Additionally, they feature a more contemporary frequency curve on their respective treble ranges.
The Silverbird line utilizes a new 1 ½” (38mm) aluminum-wound voice coil with a Kapton former, designed to retain the trademark clarity of the Jensen clean tones, paired with a smooth, progressive contour of the top-end response; this response is tailored to grant openness with clean and pushed tones, and the necessary smoothness to keep the upper harmonics of the high-gain tones under control. The medium-sized Ceramic magnets provide the necessary strength for generous-yet-tight bass, while the new cone membranes, with a specific treatment on the paper surrounds, deliver a balanced response in the midrange and “presence” zone.

Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 21/5/26, shipping is capped for orders up to 15 kg to most areas.
For orders under $100, Standard Postage is $13.50.
For orders from $100 to $1,000, Express Shipping is $22.

Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You may request that the parcel be left in a safe place, but if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option — if using a work address, please include the business name.
Vinyl records are packed in rigid LP mailers with corner protection and internal padding to prevent damage in transit.
