The LDB-101 active direct box serves as an optimal connection of a musical instrument with high impedance unbalanced output to a low impedance balanced input of a mixer. By means of the balanced connections to the mixer, interference can also be avoided in the case of long connecting cables. In case of problems with hum loops, the ground connections between instrument and mixer can be separated by means of the ground lift switch. Then the devices are D.C. separated. High signal levels can be reduced by means of the reductor and can be adapted to the mixer input. Thereby, the LDB box can also be connected directly to the speaker output of an instrument amplifier. Consequently, the influence of the sound at the mixer input will be maintained by the amplifiers (e.g. guitar or tube amplifier).

Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 10/9/21 capped $8.80 to $16.50 for up to 20kg to most areas. For orders under $50 options are Standard Postage $8.80 or Express Shipping for $16.50. Orders over $1,000 ship for free. Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9am and 5pm weekdays. You can instruct us to ask the courier to leave your parcel unattended in a safe place, although please be aware that if anything happens to the parcel, neither us nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option. If using a work address please include the business' name.
