The EVERSE 8 is the first battery‑powered loudspeaker from Electro‑Voice and the first weatherized model of its type. With a maximum SPL of 121 dB and wide 100° × 100° coverage, EVERSE 8 delivers output far beyond what its compact size suggests. Core components include an 8" woofer mounted using EV’s patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) port design and a high‑output titanium tweeter on a custom constant‑directivity waveguide. As with all EV portable speakers, reliability is verified through extensive endurance testing.
EVERSE 8 uses a custom high‑capacity Li‑ion battery pack optimised for audio use, providing up to 12 hours of run time. Protection circuitry prevents deep discharge during long‑term storage, and tool‑free screws make battery removal simple. Enjoy uncompromised sound quality — completely unplugged.
With the included weatherized input cover and rugged polypropylene enclosure, EVERSE 8 meets the IP43 rating (resistant to splashes and light rain) when running on battery power and streaming via Bluetooth®. Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 11/9/25, capped $11.00 to $19.50 for up to 15 kg to most areas. For orders under $50, options are Standard Postage $11.00 or Express Shipping for $19.50. Orders over $1,000 ship for free*. Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You can instruct us to ask the courier to leave your parcel unattended in a safe place, although please be aware that if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option. If using a work address, please include the business's name.
