Chrome - Ty Segall
DC980LP
$54.99
Chrome is the powerful new album from prolific garage-rock innovator Ty Segall, reuniting him with his longtime band for a ferocious collection of riff-driven rock songs. Written and recorded following the release of Possession, the album captures the chemistry of Segall, Ben Boye, Evan Burrows, Mikal Cronin and Emmett Kelly, combining their collective energy into one of Segall's most collaborative and hard-hitting releases to date.
Drawing inspiration from classic proto-punk, garage rock, hard rock and underground guitar music, Chrome features towering riffs, fuzz-drenched guitars and explosive rhythms throughout. Tracks such as "Hospital", "Running To Nowhere", "Black Paint", "Everything You've Been" and the title track showcase Segall's ability to balance melodic songwriting with raw, unrelenting intensity. The result is an album packed with urgency, atmosphere and the adventurous spirit that has defined his career.
Released via Drag City, Chrome is an essential addition for fans of Ty Segall's ever-evolving catalogue and listeners drawn to high-energy guitar music with equal amounts of power and imagination.
