Although the AVE Bassboy is the smallest in the Bassboy powered subwoofer range, the Bassboy 12" still impresses with its punch, power and performance. The Bassboy series is a labour of love for AVE engineers, featuring carefully selected components that deliver strong output while remaining lightweight and efficient. The Bassboy 12" adds serious low-end reinforcement to any live rig and is flexible enough to pair with almost any mid-high speaker setup.
Equipped with a high‑performance 12" woofer powered by a 600W Class‑D amplifier, the Bassboy 12" can run all night without heat issues. Like the rest of the Bassboy range, the enclosure is compact and discreet — one of the smallest in its class — making it ultra‑portable and easy to transport. Measuring under 50 cm³ and weighing just 23.5 kg, it’s ideal for mobile DJs, bands and venues needing powerful bass in a compact footprint.

If ordered directly online, delivery of subwoofers to certain locations may not be covered by our normal delivery charge due to size and weight. If this occurs, we will contact you immediately to arrange delivery options. Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 21/5/26, shipping is capped for orders up to 15 kg to most areas.
For orders under $100, Standard Postage is $13.50.
For orders from $100 to $1,000, Express Shipping is $22.
Orders over $1,000 ship for free*.
Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You may request that the parcel be left in a safe place, but if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option — if using a work address, please include the business name.
Vinyl records are packed in rigid LP mailers with corner protection and internal padding to prevent damage in transit.
