As the original inventor of the transistor megaphone in 1954, TOA’s megaphones are world renowned and their sound quality is still unsurpassed to this day. TOA offers an extensive range of portable power megaphones that provide optimal reinforcement for various applications in different environments.
The very popular TOA ER2230W is one of the most recognised megaphones and is used on Bondi Beach in Sydney, and features on the Bondi Rescue TV series. It can be mounted on beach buggies or easily carried around with the shoulder strap to warn swimmers and surfers of any danger. It is supplied with a handheld microphone, but also allows an external microphone and auxiliary input to be connected. The ER2230W has an effective voice range of up to 800 metres and 1,000 metres with the whistle function. The external material is constructed out of aluminium and uses a proprietary polyimide diaphragm to ensure high sound quality and robustness. The extensive megaphone range is perfect for beach and surf lifesaving clubs who need a reliable product to broadcast warnings and emergencies.

Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 21/5/26, shipping is capped for orders up to 15 kg to most areas.
For orders under $100, Standard Postage is $13.50.
For orders from $100 to $1,000, Express Shipping is $22.
Orders over $1,000 ship for free*.
Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You may request that the parcel be left in a safe place, but if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option — if using a work address, please include the business name.
Vinyl records are packed in rigid LP mailers with corner protection and internal padding to prevent damage in transit.
