Recorded at Rockfield Studios in 1995 , the album became a cultural phenomenon — selling 347,000 copies in its first week in the UK and ultimately moving 22 million copies worldwide . It delivered some of the biggest British rock anthems of all time, including “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” “Some Might Say,” and “Roll With It” .
In Australia, the album debuted at #6 and climbed to #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, holding the top spot for five weeks. “Wonderwall” also hit #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart .
This era saw Oasis perform some of the most legendary shows in British history — including Maine Road and the record‑breaking Knebworth concerts, which drew 250,000 fans across two nights with 2.6 million ticket requests .
This remastered double‑LP edition presents the original album in a gatefold sleeve, preserving the sound and spirit of one of the defining records of the 1990s.
