From The Soil To The Soul — Tommy Guerrero’s much‑loved 4th LP — finally arrives on vinyl for the first time, fully remastered and pressed on heavyweight wax. The Rocket listing confirms this is the first‑ever vinyl release of the album, originally issued only on CD in 2006 via Quannum Records.
Working directly with Guerrero, the album has been remastered, cut to heavyweight vinyl, and features freshly reworked artwork by Guerrero himself, based on the original cover by renowned street artist Barry McGee (Twist).
Musically, the album continues Guerrero’s signature blissful guitar‑soul, but with deeper complexity and a slightly darker edge. His effortless funk blends with Americana, heavy psych, lo‑fi fuzz, and Latin rhythms, all wrapped in his breezy San Franciscan feel.
Recorded primarily in his home studio, Guerrero wrote, arranged and performed nearly all instruments — bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and kalimba — giving the album its intimate, handcrafted warmth.
The LP is packed with highlights: the hip‑hop blues of “The Under Dog”, Hammond‑driven jams like “War No More” and “No Guns More Glory”, Balearic‑leaning grooves like “Don’t Fake It”, and the breezy pop gem “Just Ain’t Me”, featuring a rare vocal performance from Guerrero himself.

For orders under $100, Standard Postage is $13.50.
For orders from $100 to $1,000, Express Shipping is $22.

Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You may request that the parcel be left in a safe place, but if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Vinyl records are packed in rigid LP mailers with corner protection and internal padding to prevent damage in transit.
