The Jensen vintage alnico P12Q is a lower power sibling to the P12N, with a smaller voice coil and a vintage steel basket, nicknamed the “hot dog” or “sausage” because of the shape of the openings in its basket frame. Warm and balanced sounding, with a nice bite in the upper midrange, it is a very interesting allrounder, for many different applications from the traditional country and jazz tones to the more aggressive rock and roll and blues application. Typically it was found in ‘holy grail’ amps such as the vintage Tweed Deluxe and other similar models as well as the Ampeg® Jet, Gibson® GA-20 and many more.

Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 21/5/26, shipping is capped for orders up to 15 kg to most areas.
For orders under $100, Standard Postage is $13.50.
For orders from $100 to $1,000, Express Shipping is $22.

Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt, so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9 am and 5 pm weekdays. You may request that the parcel be left in a safe place, but if anything happens to the parcel, neither we nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option — if using a work address, please include the business name.
Vinyl records are packed in rigid LP mailers with corner protection and internal padding to prevent damage in transit.
