EWI LDB-101 Single Channel Active Direct Box

The EWI LDB‑101 is a single‑channel active DI box designed to connect instruments with high‑impedance, unbalanced outputs to the balanced XLR inputs of a mixer or audio interface. Balancing the signal reduces noise and allows you to run long cable lengths without introducing interference.

A ground‑lift switch is provided to eliminate hum caused by ground loops by isolating the device’s DC connection. A pad is also included for reducing high‑level signals, allowing the LDB‑101 to accept the speaker output of an instrument amplifier while preserving the amp’s tone. (As with all DI boxes of this type, it’s not recommended for amplifiers over 200W.)

This makes the LDB‑101 suitable for guitars, basses, keyboards, and other instruments where clean, noise‑free signal transfer is essential.
