Designed to pay homage to the classic 1176LN, every effort was made to keep the Klark Teknik 76-KT FET-Style Compressor true to the original D and E versions of the iconic signal processor. At the same time, Klark Teknik modernised the completely discrete signal path using hand-selected components and custom-engineered MIDAS input and output transformers – for the ultimate in pristine sonic performance.
The compression ratio is selected by pushing any, or all, of the Ratio buttons located to the left of VU meter. Ratios available are: 4:1 for moderate compression; 8:1 for severe compression; 12:1 ratio for mild limiting; and 20:1 for hard limiting. Using the “All-Button” mode can be especially effective when applied to drums, bass, guitar, and room mics – or for more aggressive “in your face” vocals.
Featuring a rugged steel 2U rackmount enclosure, the 76-KT is designed for the rigours of live concert touring. Premium Neutrik XLR connectors are used to ensure reliable audio connections, night after night.

Order weight is calculated on whichever of the dead (actual) or volumetric weight is the greatest. As of 10/9/21 capped $8.80 to $16.50 for up to 20kg to most areas. For orders under $50 options are Standard Postage $8.80 or Express Shipping for $16.50. Orders over $1,000 ship for free. Express Shipping covers one delivery attempt so please provide an address where someone is available to sign for courier delivery between 9am and 5pm weekdays. You can instruct us to ask the courier to leave your parcel unattended in a safe place, although please be aware that if anything happens to the parcel, neither us nor the courier company can be held responsible. Work addresses are a great delivery option. If using a work address please include the business' name.
